Genesis
Many unusual, unknown, undiagnosed, new and unexpected health problems in humans (like skin allergy, skin irritation, respiratory problems, weakness, etc.) and animals (skin irritation, weakness, poisoning symptoms, reproductive problems, dullness, etc.) have surfaced for last few years since introduction of genetically modified crops like BT Cotton in India in the year 2002. Thousands of farm animals have died in India while they were feeding on BT cotton plants, its leaves and stems, its seeds and oil-cake. Also soil productivity of farms growing BT cotton has declined as per farmers' own personal communications in many states in India. Millions of human beings (farmers, farm labourers, labourers at Cotton factories) are also affected directly by plants and plant parts of BT Cotton.

Reports have started coming in about unusual health (skin irritaion and other allergic reactions, unexplained general weakness, respiratory difficulties, dullness, depression, etc. ) problems linked to consumption of milk produced by animals which are fed BT cotton plant its leaves, stems and seeds in the feed.
